Description
Summary:PH Coll 784.32 The exact identity of the family depicted in these photographs is unknown. They may have been friends or relations of Mary M. Durkee, of Seattle, or of Fred and Elma Cowden, a couple living in Nome. It is also possible that they are Elizabeth Goetze and her husband, the photographer Otto Daniel (O.D.) Goetze, who lived and worked in Nome circa 1910. Another possibility is that the pictures feature Viola M. Orton and her husband Ira D. Orton, who was an attorney in Nome around the same time.
