Tautuk was the chief herder of the Nome Government reindeer herd. Label on copy in the Museum of History and Industry (#17210 in Alaska- Eskimo Subject File) says "Ablika (ab-LY-Ka) a Port Clarence native, Reindeer [sic] herder worth about $15,000 in reindeer". PH Coll 328.100
