Description
Summary:Tree horizons of magnetically active layer of the earth's crust have been separated according to the results of correlative analysis of physical parameters of rocks of the Antarctic coast in the area of «Academician Vernadskiy» station. Magnetization of layers was estimated according to the value of integrated magnetization (J) with subsequent correlation and allocation to stratigraphic and structural elements. According to the results of PT-experiments on the rocks of the same type corrections have been introduced into J values for changes with depth at the expense of pressure and temperature effects. Calculated values of integrated magnetization under natural conditions of rocks occurrence allowed to simulate geometrical sections of magnetic layers, estimate intensity of anomalous field produced by them.
