Summary:The article addresses the issue of the possibility of selecting the optimal composition of crushed stonesand mixtures for the construction of road pavements on logging roads in the Republic of Karelia. The prospects for using crushed sand screenings are noted by solving problems of both integrated development of deposits and supplying the republic's timber transport network with stone materials. В статье затрагивается вопрос о возможности подбора оптимального состава щебеночно-песчаных смесей для устройства дорожных одежд лесовозных дорог Республики Карелия. Отмечается перспективность применения песков-отсевов дробления за счет решения проблем как комплексного освоения месторождений, так и снабжения лесотранспортной сети республики каменными материалами.
