Description
Summary:International audience Luisella's art is based on the dialogue between art and science in order to explore the relationship between human and the living world. Therefore, it is an ecological art: her performances were a total immersion in the natural world, a sort of inner journey that took concrete form in her many nomadic workshops that she realised around the world, from South Africa to Canada, from Latin America to Iceland: an incessant movement of discovery and encounter that had become her natural breath, a sort of going towards the experience of estrangement, wonder and memory. In this chapter, I would first like to dwell on the relationship between art and science, which is particularly present in the volume I segni del movimento (Udine, Campanotto, 2011); in a second part, I would like to explore the different moments of the creative process through his Icelandic diary later published in the volume Dove le pietre volano (Udine, Campanotto, 1999).
