Pentland in charge of the service. Mrs. J. A. Ririe accompanied I the congregation in singing the hymns "Abide With Me" and "Sweet Hour of Prayer." Reverend Pentland spoke on Man’s Dependance on God and God’s special keep to ud during times of death. He explained that Mr. Ford had been a long time resident of the Magrath area and would be remembered especially by some of the early settlers of this vicinity. Mr. Ford was a member of the Methodist Church, and thereby a member of the United Church of Canada. He was 77 years of age. He is survived by his brother, Mr. W. Ford of Magrath.
