G. is J.F.’s father. J. F. is 88 years old and his brother J.A, is 82, They planned on driving to Alberta in their ’37 car but changed their plans only when the daughter of J.A. called in the police. The aider Grant stooked 30 acres of grain last fall. He also purchased a $24-00.00 Govern­ment annunity last yeat, He will have to live ten more years in order to get his money back. His monthly cheque amounts to around $40.00. He bet the Government he would live to be 98, Sunday, before returning home, Nov. 16th, they attended the Second Ward Sunday School. The lesson was the Epistle of Janes. The 1st Chapter and the 5th Verse reads "If any of you lack wisdom let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not and it shall be given him. Mrs. Alice Fowler attended the funeral services of the late W. H. McIntyre, Jr. "The services commenced at 4 p.m. at Evans & Early (Funeral directors) and lasted 25 minutes.
