The 150 guests were received by officials of the three Women’s Auxiliaries. Tommy Morrow acted as Master of Ceremonies for an enjoyable program,arranged by Mrs. Norma Owens, President of the Magrath Junior Aux­iliary, as follows.—Community singing with Mrs. Ray Atwood at the piano; Vocal solos by Shirley Hillmer, accompanied by Judy Hamilton; Piano Solos by Diane Swedish of Raymond; Choruses by the C.G. girls;Readings by Mrs. Eric Hohm, Spring Coulee; Dances by Myma James accompanied wee^, Benson, by Floyd Harris at the piano. Gditar solo & a guitar and Harmonica solo by Cecil Takahashi. During the serving of lunch, R.S. Thompson, on behalf of the three charges presented Mr. & Mrs. Pentland with well filled hand tooled leather purses, with initials and name inscribed. Rodney Arndt and Geo. Barinuk, representing the young peoples groups presented Mr. Pentland with a leather brief case. ■ It is with deep regret that residents of this community bid farewell to the Pentlands, as their friends are legion. Funeral Home in Lethbridge on Saturday June 26th. at 1.30 p.m. Reverend H. Pentland was in charge of the services. Members of the Elk's lodge, of which Mr. Larsen was a member acted as pallbearers. Musical numbers were rendered by Mr. Grant Woolley, Ruth Heninger,Howard Fletcher and Mrs. Mary Macmullen, who sang "I need Thee every hour", a solo "In the garden by Mr. Hall Poulsen, and a duet "We'll say goodnight here and good morning up there" by Ruth Heninger and Howard Fletcher, all accompanied by Mrs. Vinessa Hamilton.
