The Zone meeting of the Red Cross Siciety was held in Cardston on Wed. Jan 19th. in the form of a banquet held in the Cahoon Hotel. Arthur Doyle of Calgary, Branch Organizer for the Province was the main speaker with short reports from the presidents'of each branch j Cardston, Glenwood, Magrath, Hillspring and Raymond. C.S.Matkin was in charge of the meeting. Mr. & Mrs. Ron Knight left on Sunday for Regina where they will reside in future. JUVENILE DEIINQUENCY A good project for the Lions Club would be the skating rink. Most towns have one or more rinks all operated by towns and cities. One Council man told us that Spring Coulee had a good rink for hoy's and girl's. He sail the chairman of the town rink committee wasn1' functioning. That isn’t the only town committee like that. Monday night the Town Hall was the scene of a Juvenile Court session. Chief Magistrate, Judge Card presiding. Other meetings scheduled to meet there were forced to go elsewhere. In our opinion a skating rink could help solve the Juvenile Delinquency situation. The town council has the surplus labor so the rink could be operated without additional expense. Some organization should sponsor it. SEE THE BIG SHOE SALE UP STUBS, a GOOD CHOICE TO CHOOSE FROM. 1/3 OFF.
