To guard, protect» 2, A Pastor » leader or guide. . The first of the week we inspected sheep miles from town, The employee along remarked "What a difference in the sheep since you hired the new herder". True. A sheep herder can "either make or break you". One reason you must inspect often. The good book, from beginning to end, speaks of sheep and shepherds. Numbers 27:17 Moses spoke unto the Lord, saying set a man over the congregation that the congregation of the Lord be not as sheep which have no shepherd, etc. John 21:16 — Christ’s charge to Peter. "Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? And he sqid unto him, lord, thou knowest al1 things, thou knowest I love thee. Jesus saith unto him — Feed my sheep". One of the most pleasant experiences since boyhood is in seeing animals eat. No movie can compare. Mrs. Dudley has gone on'an extended visit. Her pies and bread are no longer in stock. Here are two recipes, one by Mrs, Dorothy Wocknitz, the other by Mrs. Nellie Seward. Good ones. Team Captain Ron Ehlert won the Most Valuable Player Award, which combines sportsmanship with skill. He tied with Neil Dillabaugh of the Regina Spartans for most points in the L.I.T, with 44 each. In the pre!imi nary games Magrath won by scores of 51-37 and 53—3^ ovet Balford Tech and Winnipeg Trojans respectively. John Taylor, a consistant point—getter, scored the first basket in all games. Burke Hamilton and Lloyd Hillmer swept thè boards almost completely clean in the final and did almost as well in the preliminaries. Ron Hansen ' was top scorer in the final although failing to show his abilities in the first 2 games. Nick Ponamar canned curcial baskets to ease off the pressure several times in showing off Magrath’s long-range might. Robert Forsyth and Sherwin Moriyama also connected for the Zeniths, The superb coaching of Tom Karren disorganized the opposing teams. The Zenith defence was so strong that only about ten field shots a game were scored against them. The excellent management and whole-hearted cheering of James E, Blumell and party were much appreciated by the Zenith players. The Magrath group found Regina and the L. I.T. very friendly and very cordial. They thoroughly enjoyed the trip; Sherwin Moriyama, Reporter, THANK YOU: The Magrath Zeniths would like to thank, very warmly, all their wonderful supporters who cheered them on to victory.
