Jeremy Dean and his parents, of Burney, Calif., filed a lawsuit in January against Shasta County for at least $700,000 for Jeremy’s total disability that resulted from a noy* CT8.SÌ1 Dean and some friends had been out drinking. Dean was in the back seat of a car and had stuck his head out the window to vomit just as the driver veered off the road, ramming Dean’s head into a tree. The lawsuit claims that it was the county’s fault that the tree was so close to the road. ' Mrs. Kathleen "Kay" Gesinghaus passed away Monday, November 16, 1998. FARMS, FEEDLOTS ft RENOVATIONS BOX 82« RAYMOND, AB TOK 230 (403) 752-4005 The Bantam Bulldogs would like to welcome Janay Chipman to our team. It is great to have you back again. The Bulldogs travelled to Foremost on Fri. Nov. 6, to play a league game against the Foremost team. Our Bulldogs were missing 3 players(2 sick & 1 on suspension) which left us quite short-8 skaters & a goalie! From the drop of the 1st puck we knew we had our work cut out for us as we lost the face off & the majoirty of the faceoffs thru out the game. At the end of the lst-20 min. we were behind on the shots on net(25-3) on the scoreboard(5-2). the 2nd period was even worse as we were outshot 37-2 on the short end of a 10-3 score. The final outcome was 86-8 shots, a 14-3 loss & very tired players. Our goal getters: D. Mandel-1, Kyle H. 1-1, E. Godionton 1. Assists: C. Ririe-1, D. Wetherelt-l. Penalties: W. Stoutjesdyk-1, E. Godlonton-4. Missing from this game were B. Walkey & J. Heggie and K. Schneyder. Sat. Nov. 7 we hosted Raymond in our 3rd league game. Once again we were bombarded with shots on net, as Peter kept out approx. 82% of the shots he received & the Raymond goalie kept out 90%. Our shots on net were much improved but our accuracy needs a little work. All in all we played very much like a team & worked hard most of the shifts. A well executed shot on one of the Raymond players in the 1st period resulted in a broken wrist to the Raymond player & a sombering effect on both teams for the balance of the period. At the start of the 2nd period, despite being behind by a score of 3-1, a new spark was lit & we seemed to skate & pass much better, but it was not enough to overcome the Raymond team as we skated to the dressing room at the final buzzer on the short end of a 6-2 score. Missing from the game was B. Walkey. Goal getter was Cody Riri. Assis: C. Ratke & K. Harker. Penaties: 1 tto C. Ririe, J. Heggie, K. Schneyder, D. Mandel & D. Wetherelt. TOURNAMENT PLAY **Our Home Tournament previously scheduled for this weekend, Nov. 20-22 has been temporarily cancelled.
