Saturday June 20th was the date Ange-Emile walked Myleine Labbe down the aisle and handed her over to Ashley Plettell to become his wife. The wedding ceremony was held in our Lady of Assumption Church in Lethbridge. Chelsey Ress was the ring bearer, Marissa Hatch the flower girl, Maryse Hatch & Michee Labbe were bridesmaids with Amber Asplund as maid of honor. The groom was accompanied by his best friends-Keith Bates, Greg Bartz & Chris Thomson. The ushers were Andre & Aldege Labbe, Andre was also at the guest book. The banquet was catered to by Vinnie Jensen and once again we would like to thank Vinnie and her crew for a most delicious meal and excellent service. Also thanks Vinnie for all the extras you did for us. The banquet was followed by a dance and the cutting of the cake. The bride and groom are honeymooning in Vancouver. For any information call Vai at 758-3062. ****** Shauna Panczak attended the School Provincial track meet in Stettler this past weekend. There were some scary moments as she was nearly disqualified for not wearing a School named track shirt, as none was given her, a quick thinking teacher up there helped us out with white tape & a pen marker! Shauna threw the shot-put for her personal best distance of 10.16 meters, but placed 4th in the competition. She competed at the University of Lethbridge to advance to Stettler 2 weeks previously, receiving a silver medal in shot-put & bronze in discus. However, only 1st & 2nd place winners got to advance to Stettler. ****** JLP Productions is honored to have been asked by the Organizing committee for the Summer Games in Raymond, Alberta, to put together a two hour show on the evenings of July 9th and July 10th at 7 p.m. at the Raymond community Theatre Local Souther Alberta Entertainers will be featured, as they always are at these concerts. The husband & wife team of Peter and Sherrie Ogloff from Pincher Creek will be featured. Diamond Willow from Magrath, featuring Audra Foggin & Leanne Sabey will ' also be there. Johnny Panczak is sending everyone a big "Thank You" for all the support shown during his hospitalization and recovery time after a triple bypass operation on his hear at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary. Everything turned out very successfully, it's truly amazing what the medical people can do to get a person back to lead as normal a life as possible. Thanks to Dr. Regehr of Magrath, Dr. Janzen of Lethbridge and of course Dr. Beyes of Calgary, along with all the nurses that worked so hard to help me along the road to recovery. They were all so wonderful. Thanks to all our friends for the phone calls, cards & flowers and visits to the hospital and at home. It felt like I couldn't heal as fast as everyone was pulling for me!. Thank you to my family - It took away from your busy time to help me! God Bless You All! He auditioned for a spot at the Youth Talent Competition to be held at the Boyce Theatre at the Stampede Grounds during the Calgary Stampede. He won the audition & will compete between July 3rd & 7th, at the Boyce Theatre. He, along with his family are excited to say the least. The fact that Paul Brandt competed at this very competition at one time is enough of a thrill. The theatre is also supplying Trevor with an orchestra for back up. He recently wrote a son entitled "Here I Am" & will sing this in his presentation. Anyone who is up there at that time is welcome to stop by the Boyce Theatre & cheer him on!
