Mr. and Mrs. Victor Pashuk of Ignace, Ontario arrived Tuesday evening to attend the funeral service of his mother, the late Anna Pashuk. While here they were the guests of his brother and sister-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Walt Pashuk of Lethbridge. Miss Debbie Hillmer of Calgary is visiting her parents Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hillmer. CLEARANCE SAIE - NO RETURNS Regular 891 skein. £ FOB Eldred Leon Hudson passed away in Magrath on Thursday, June 26th at the age of 72 years, beloved husband of Mrs. Rose Hudson. •The late Mr. Hudson was born August 14th, 1902 at Staoot, Wyoming and came to ' Canada with his parents in 1904, settling in Magrath. He married Ella Rose Bennett July 20, 1927 • He worked for many years as a grain buyer at Magrath, Winnifred, Clareshola and Raymond retiring in 1968 and moving back to Magrath. He then worked for Ellison’s until last fall. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife Rosej four sons, Gordon and Derrel of Ednonton, Blaine and Andrew of Calgary; one daughter, Mrs. William (Norma) Asplund of Togan, Utah; 24 grandchildren; 2 great grand** children; two brothers Clarence Arland of Raymond and Julius Earl of Montreal; one sister Mrs. Ruth Kesler of New Dayton; two aunts Mrs. Irene Strang and Mrs. LaVerna Ackroyd of Magrath and one uncle Mr. Leo Coleman of Magrath. Funeral services for Eldred Leon Hudson were held June 28th in the Magrath L.D.S. Chapel. Bishop Tyler Alston conducted the service and also gave the opening remarks. Keith Hudson, a grandson, who is leaving this week on an L.D.S. Mission to Quebec, talked on his grandfather’s life and Pres­ident Fay Walker was the main speaker. All prayers were offered by sons of "Dad" with Gordon, the oldest son, giving the grave­side dedication prayer. Pallbearers in­cluded four grandsons, Douglas, Glen, Derek and Rodney; and two nephews, Drew and Arthur. Rose wishes to thank all who attended the services or provided assistance in many other ways to her and members of the family. ‘ ••••••• Funeral services for the late Antonina (Anna) Pashuk who passed away Sunday, June 22nd at the age of 83 years, were conducted frcm St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Wednesday, June 25th, Father J. - O’Reilly, celebrant. Mrs. Esther Toaner and Mrs. Virginia Hillmer presided at the Memorial register. Organist was Mrs. Irene -Gruninger, Michael Gruninger was Alter boy. , Pallbearers were Eric Hohn, Floyd Toaner, Clifford Miller, Lewis Stevenson, Glen Holman and John Brunner. Interment took place in the Magrath Cemetery. NOTICE: St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Services for the month of July will be held SATURDAYS at 5 PJt. beginning this Saturday, July 5th. The happy couple will make their home in 1 Provo, Utah after spending the summer in Cal­gary. Stevenson's Annual Little Pro Tennis Tournament, Grade 6, took place Tuesday, June 24th with 28 contestants taking part.
