Besides being very dangerous it is also against the law. Any persons being found in the swimming pool property who do not have the authority to be there will be arrested and charged for trespassing. No warnings will be given. As we come closer to Magrath Celebration Days, the R.C.M.P. would like the people of Magrath to be aware of the laws surrounding firecrackers and fireworks. Fireworks may be used in town if they are the B-type of fireworks, prior to being used the person responsible for them must obtain a permit from the town of Magrath, or the Magrath Firechief. Failure to comply with these conditions will result in seizure of your fireworks. . FIRECRACKERS are ILLEGAL in CANADA, anyone found in possesion of fireworks will be charged, and all firecrackers seized. If you have any further questions re­garding Fireworks please do not hesitate to call the local R.C.M.P. detachment. The ladies favorable remarks were countless and freely offered. The co-operation and suppert received from Club Pro Brian Huculak, Rick Gross, and Brent Bailer left nothing to be desired. Thanks also goes to the men who drove the walkers to their tees, those who assisted with the registration and recording the results, to Bob Mikado and his restaurant staff, and lastly, to the 112 ladies who contributed greatly to the success of their tournament. But, the highlight of the Tournament is always the presentation of the Magrath Trading Co. The Southchief All-Stars Junior Little League Team (13 year old) won the district playoffs last week by defeating the Leth­bridge All Stars two straight games in a best of three playoff. Last Tuesday Quinn Lybbert and Brad Molcak combined on pitch­ing a 3 hit, 10-3 victory. On Friday Southcheif defeated Lethbridge 16-6 with Danny Balderson as the. winning pitcher. Southchief pounded Lethbridge pitching for 16 hits on route to the victory. The team leaves for Moose Jaw tomorrow for the 10 team Pra-i-riA. Championships. They play Calgary on Saturday, Medicine Hat on Mon., Peace River on Tuesday, and Moose Jaw on Wednesday in the Round Robin portion of the tournament.
