The weather is always a topic of conversation or theme to write about. • Our recent outbreak of cold weather we can blame on the Hardware Dept. We have observed through the years that when the first display of garden seeds make their appearance in the Hardware the beginning of February, there is an onslaught of storms and frigid temperatures. It never fails. One would think the staff would dread the thoughts of having to dawn "ear muffs and red flannels" because of their thoughtlessness. We are sure we were not alone in finding the disastrous temperature change not to our liking, and hope they will be more considerate next February.
