We were served a delicious roast beef dinner with all tiie trimmings. The M.C. for this function was Scott Wolsey. We were serenaded by three members of the Cultural Arts Society Board: Anne Bowen, Falene Wolsey and Laurel Bennett, they sang "Don’t Sit Under the Apple Tree" & "Dear Hearts & Gentle People". Audra Foggin entertained us with "You're Still the One" & "Blue Bayou”. Highland Dancers Erinn & Mikaela Fisher, Brittany & Kennedy Russell were introduced by their instructor: Candy Russell. We were also entertained by a relatively new couple to Magrath Greg & Heather Seear, accompanied by Barbara Nalder. Heather & Greg have obviously had some stage experience, they sang "Swinging on a Star" & "A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square". On the lighter side we had some good laughs with the Cowboy Poet Curt Pilling and as a special threat Gaelynd Pilling regaled us with one of the poems from his new book. The entertainment came to a close with a solo by our M.C. Scott Wolsey. Great food, good entertainment, belly laughs, good company and a good time was had by all. ****** The Magrath Elementary School in now accepting KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATIONS for the 2000/2001 school year.
