ANOTHER DAY Each morn I greet the rising sun. With thankfulness, anu pray, That greater wisdom may be mine. Than 1 had yesterday. The thoughtless blunders 1 have made. The unkind words 1‘ve spoken, The vows of better things I’d do. Made only to be broken. Mistakes of other days are past; Why live them o'er again? The thought brings only wretchedness. Unhappiness, and pain. The yesterdays have passed away; Their sorrow’s a thing apart. And as the morning comes anew. I make another start. And as 1 greet the rising sun With thankfulness, I pray That somewhat better I may be Than i was yesterday.
