Contact Mrs. Tom Hoyt at Del Bonita, Bridge pass away in the ifegrath Municipi Hospital Saturday night following a lengthy illness» She was 71 years of age, The late Mrs. Bridge was born in West Weber* County, Utah, the daughter of Mr, and Mrs. James B. Ririe, early pioneers of Jfegrath, com­ing here -n 1899. She was a faithful worker in her church and a member of the Relief Society. "* -a Left to mourn her passing are her husband Orson, one son rfelcolm of Salt lake City, one daughter Mrs. Pauline Critchfield of Lethbridge, four brothers Alfred, Iawrence and Horace of Migrath and Lloyd of Provo; seven sisters Mrs. Louise Winterton and Mrs. Velma Godfrey cf Provo, Mrso Olive uradshaw and Mrs. Hazel Spencer, Mrs. Margaret Hindley and Mrs. Julia dean Bondy of Migrath and Mrs. Prudence Poulsen of Lethbridge. Funeral services were held in the Migrath First Ward Chapel Monday afternoon with Elder Elden^Christensen conducting. Prelude was by Mrs. tfeude Ririe and Mrs. bferjorie Balderson<> urian MacMillan of Iethbridge offered the opening prayer. The choir, led by Hall Poulsen and accompanied by Mrs. Afton Keeler rendered "O'^jr Father" and "An Evening Prayer" a special request of Mrs. Bridge. Special musical numbers were a vocal’*quartet MF Father Knows" by Hall Poulsen, B. W. Dow, Inez Gibb and Lillian Taylor accompanied by Mrs. Keeler, and a vocal solo "God’s Other Room" by L. B. Tanner accompanied by Mrs. Vinessa Hamilton.* Speakers for the service were Dr. Mirk Dahl, Elder Frank Steele and Bishop R. E. Blumell. The closing prayer was by C. C. Spencer with Mrs. Ririe and Mrs, ua_aer.-.on paying the postlude. The beautiful floral tributes were under the direction of the Relief Society and carried by members and friends. Irillbcarers were Jack Bridge, Jim uridge, Shelton Ririe, Watson Ririe, Joe Gibb and Jim Poulsen. Interment took place in the Kfegrath cemetery with Lloyd Ririe offering the graveside prayer. The Migrath Assembly Hall was the scene Saturday evening of the annual "Father and Son” banquet when some 178 Cubs, Scouts, Leaders, Fathers and’Hpecial guests enjoyed a banquet served by the First Ward Relief Society. Two musical numbers were enjoyed, a Homer and Jethro ccmedy number and a Male Quartet from Raymond by Jim Bridge Joe Keener, Dorrel Stone and Cal Hillo Mr. Pieroe gave a very interesting’address and the various groups cf boys presented demonstrations of their training dealing mostly with* sig­nalling. The youngsters participated in a campfire program led by the Provincial Commiss­ioner and completed the evening with troop skits. , One hundred and thirty fiw honored guests gathered at the Migrath Assembly HSU Friday evening for the annual Honored Guests Banquet, “A turkey dinner with all the trimm­ings was served under the direction of Mrs. Garth Coleman and Mrs. Ken Hiiidley. The 1961 requisitions of the' School, Hospital and Senior Citizen’s Home"have not yet come in. The following table summarizes the tax arrears picture: 1, Total number of ratepayers on • the tax roll - 391. 2. Total number of ratepayers in arrears - 111. 3. Total number of ratepayers in arrears of more than $100,00 - 54. The table indicates that 71,6$ of ratepayers are paud up. That 14.6% of ratepayers are in arrears less than $100,00$ that 1378% of ratepayers are in arrears more than $100,00. If this applies to you, please come in and settle your taxes. Fletcher returned to her home Saturday after spending the past nunber of weeks in a Lethbridge Hospital.
