Helen White, well known nature artist and former resident of Lethbridge, has created an outstanding exhibition on butterflies. The twenty watercolors are a major contribution to nature art, and a record of the fragile, transient beauty of our native butterflies, a record particularly important today with the decline in butterfly populations due to presticides and the destruction of larval habitats. Bring a reading glass and enjoy an intimate view of Whispering Wings. Open Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 4:00, 2:00 - 5:00 Sunday, West end of 5th Ave. South. Galt Museum. Farewell services honoring Seig Widmer were held in the Magrath LDS Chapel Sunday afternoon. Invocation was offered by Reid Coleman. Special musical numbers included a vocal solo by Barbara Johnson accompanied by Ilona Pack and a vocal duet by April Horman (daughter of Hermine Briggs Horman) and Dana Smith (daughter of Emma Lou Briggs Smith) accompanied by Alma Davies. Speakers for the service were Ruth and Don Johnson, Eugene Parkins and Melvin Wong, with remarks by Seig and Bishop Bob West. The benediction was offered by Bishop Bob Fraser. Seig leaves shortly for Holland where he will fulfill his mission. * REMINDER: - to all Dancing Students and Parents, please come and bring your child’s completed costumes this Saturday.
