Lian President Cal Alston welcomed those presente and expressed the wish ef the Club to make this event an annual affair, lion Ken Balderson; who was in charge of the evening's entertainment, acted as Master of Ceremonies! The Migrath High School Bandj under the baton of Band Director Grant Erickson of Lethbridge presented five numbers at the beginning of the program and included "Wings of Peace" by K.L. King, "Adagio Cantabile" By Beethoven^ "Midrilene" by Ifessenet; "Blue Tango" by Leroy Anderson and "Diamond Jubilee" by Ki Li King. Numbers were then presented from contestants of the recent Lethbridge Music & Speech Arts Festival. Carolyn Ririe recited "Chuckle Head'*. Joy Harker sang "Wishes"! Sandra Scout presented a hand puppet play "Little Red Riding Hood"; Johnny Baldersin *• pianb solo "Ihntusia", Kim Christensen - Speech Dialect; Sharon Sqm sang "Climl Every Mountain'* accompanied by Jane Kadonaga. Pupils of Janice Gurney - Loma Scott, Virginia Bennett) Sharon Meldrum danced the Charleston. Tom Carter - piano solo "Jig in G "; Gordon Hihm - Accordion Medley "Happy Wanderer" and "When the Saints Come Marching In". Terry Wolsey sang a Folk song "John Riley" and was accompanied by her brother Tom on the guitar. Ireta Dahl - ballet dance, Nola Dahl - Finnish National Dance. A dramatic speech number "Patterns" was presented by Melanie Harker. Young Ladies Vocal Quartette — Janice Rice, Marilyn Harris, Peggy and Janet Tanner sang "Goblins". Jane Kadonaga - piano solo - "Seguidilla". Mrs. Beatrice Harker directed her Grade 4 pupils in a one act drama "Brahman and the Tiger" with the cast including Randy Arndt, Arlin Bennett, Vicki Bohnet, Teddy Hains, Ronald Balderson, Steven Triska, Scott Robinson and Courtney Brewerton with Narrator Laura Ponomar, Cindy Rice, prompter and background music was played by Kenneth Dahl. Assisting with the staging were Michael Oka, Scott Robinsen and Allan Wilson. Concluding numbers were heard from the High School Band and included "Slavonic Pag­eant" by Ernest 0. Ganeve, "Before the Wind" by Sammy Nestico, "When Love is Kind" by James Ployhar, "Abend Lied" by Lloyd Conley and Pageant of Bands" by Ted Peterson. Person nel of the Band included - Clarinets - Patti Mikado, Bob Leishman, Bums Alston, Carol Wheeler, Gary Kay, Christine Harker, Christal Harker and Neil Wheeler. Saxophones - Deb­bie Karren, Dennis Dahl. Trumpets - Alan Dahl, Glen Bennett, Dennis Wheeler, Dexter Archibald (Lethbridge); Homs - Lorraine Boughen (Lethbridge and Lyle Pennington also of Lethbridge. Trombones - DeVar Dahl, Wade Alston, Bruce Schoultze (Leth.) Flute - Patsy Harker. Baritone - Shane Gurney. Tuba - Keith Dudley and Lee Speelman (Leth.) Drums - Kim Taylor and Bruce Ririe. A family reunion was held Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Borley on the occasion of the 25th wedding anniversary of her parents Mr. and Mrs. R. Perry of Del Bonita. A very delicious buffet lunch was served to about 32 relatives and friends. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Jim Taylor and family of Coaldale, Mr. and Mrs. W.
