In doing this they came out on top of the 9 team tournament featuring the top teams from each of the 9 districts. This win qualifies them for the Canadian Championships in Perth, Ont. Aug. 11*29. This tournament will feature the champions from B.C., Ont. Que, the Maritimes & host Perth. The winner of the Canadians moves on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennysylvania the following week. In MoOse Jaw, Southchief lost their 1st game to Calgary, Bow Ridge, but then roared back with 5 straight wins including an 8-4 victory in the final game.
