This team is famous for its Razzle Dazzle Ball handling, Intricate Pass Patterns} Trick Shooting, Marathon Dribbling and Impromptu Comedy. The Harlem Stars can excite the whole family with their entertaining play. The Magrath High School Zeniths will provide the opposition for the Stars. The group consisted of twelve accordionists, a percussionist and a vocalist. The group has been notified that they will tour Newfoundland, Iceland, Greenland and Labrador for a period of four weeks begin­ning in June. They are one of only four teen college groups chosen by the National Music Council for next year'w Department of Defence tours and are known as the "Accordionaires", Mrs. Olive James has returned from Van­couver where she attended the farewell test­imonial of her grandson Dennis James, son of Mr. and Mrs. larry James. Dennis leaves the end of October to ful fi 1 a two and a half year Mission in France and Belgium. Const. Kent Hansen, R.C.M.P., arrived Sunday evening to spend a three week visit with his parents Mr. and Mrs. Hans Hansen. Kent is enroute from Toronto to Vancouver where he has been transferred. Mr. Roger Holladay of Calgary was a week­end visitor at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. P. Holladay. A reporter from a big city newspaper visited a friend who ran a country weekly. He asked his friend: "How can you keep up your circulation in a town where everyone already knows what everyone else is doing?" The editor grinned. "They know what every­one’s doing, all right, but they read the paper to see who's been caught at it." Mr. and Mrs. Tom Boulton of Richmond, B.C. are receiving congratulations on the birth of a son (9 lb, 12 oz.) September 30th. Mrs. Boulton is the former Georgeina Harris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Harris of the McIntyre Ranch. Mrs. Colleen Brown had as her guests her parents Mr. and Mrs. Linden Bone cf Brooks.
