We now have a program in operation whereby any bicycle owner, whether child or adult, can record his bicycle with the R.C.M.P. at the office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. in an effort to eliminate bicycle thefts. Bicycles will be recorded as to owner, type, color, serial number, and any distinguishing marks. We feel this program will be a definite benefit to everyone. • During the month of August 1981 the following was reported: 2 Assaults causing harm: 2 Thefts over $200; 1 Theft St. Joseph's C.W.L. met at the home of Joann Takacs Wed. Almost all of the cost of the activities are paid for by the participating students and funds gained through gate receipts, sales campaigns, donations, and student fees. The students have felt that the community has been a generous supporter of school activities. This year the Sr. High will run a magazine campaign the early part of October and the Jr. High a car survival hot pot sale early in December.
