W.C.B. The funeral for the late Freeman Cook was held in the 2nd. Ward Chapel on Saturday April 2nd. with Bishop Emerson Blumel offic­iating. The opening prayer was given by Elder Rulon Harker, Three songs,"Tho Deepening Trials", "Sometime We’ll understand","Rest for the Weary Soul", by the Choir and a duet "Beyond The Sunset ", by Mrs. Winnie Elhert and Rulon Harker were the musical numbers. Elders John Bridge and Elmer Ririe spoke and ■ the closing prayer was by Patriarch Ira Fletcher. Postlude "Going Home" was played by Nyal Fletcher, Mrs. Vinessa Hamilton was v o»ganist»Pallbearers were Jerry Whitbeck, Kay Coo A.J .Anderson, Allan Heggie, Ronald Heggie and Jack Cook, grandsons of the deceased. Honorar pallbearers were, Elijah Bourne, William Jacobs, Richard Bradshaw, Hyrum Cooper,Tom Dudley and Jack Hamilton. The floral offerings were carried by members of the Relief Societies. The grave­side prayer was given by Eldon Christensen. All members of the family were present. In­terment was in the Magrath Cemetery. FOR SALE — 4 roomed house. Al was born in Magrath and moved to Edmonton in 1952 where he joined the R.C.A.F, in 1954. Survivors besides his parents in­clude one sister Laraine, and two brothers, James and Leslie. The funeral services were held in the 2ni Ward Chapel on Wed. April 6th. with Eld. Eldon Christensen presiding. Opening prayer was by J.A.Ririe. Three choir selections were "Come Ye Disconsolate", "I Need Thee Every Hour", and " Jesus Lover of My Soul". Duet,"Prayer Perfect", by Mrs. Allan Holladay and Mrs. Walter Taylor. Speakers were Geo. Hamilton, Geo.T.Dudley, and Bishop Emerson Blumel. Closing prayer Duane Harker. The grave was dedicated by Rulon Thomson. Flowers were carried by cousin and friends of the deceased. Pallbearers - Melvin Thomson,Bill Austin,Jerry Bohnet,Carl Keeler, Fred Reil and Doran Poulsen. At the graveside,members of the Air Force gave a Military S- lute and the trumpet sounded "The Last Post" and "Reveille". a sr Rockport Colony had 100 ewes with twin lambs out of the first 130 ewes to lamb.
