The University of Lethbridge Library received permission from the Wes Balderson to digitize and display this content. 35* MAGRATH NEWS'S^ May 9, 2001 Published Weekly Since 1932 by The Magrath Trading Company PUBLIC NOTICE MAGRATH WATER USERS SITUATION UPDATE Due to the ongoing lack of rainfall, all water users are asked to continue to observe water restrictions and refrain from all outside wàtering until the moisture situation improves dramatically. We appreciate the cooperation on this to date. Points of Interest * Spring Clean-up * Employment IRRIGATION Irrigation water will be available in the coming weeks but on a limited basis. All irrigation user including town residents are restricted to 50% of normal allocations and this makes it imperative that it be used in the most effective manner. Indiscriminate use could result in our ration being used up in May and June and the supply terminated for the rest of the year. Please be aware of the seriousness of the water shortage throughout the whole area and do your part to use wisely the supply that we do have. Your continuous cooperation with this situation will help the town and district to get through this without legislation to force compliance.
