LOOKING AHEAD We’re ever looking for sòme goal Which we may never reach; Experience, to every man A lesson first must teach. We dream of wealth and luxuries That some day we’ll attain, But fate quite often intervenes And proves our dreams are vain. Some people aim to gather wealth; May we not envy those; While others crave a humble lot A home of sweet repose; Adventures, too, possess some folk; They crave to have a thrill: While there are those if forced to work. Annoys their stubborn will. It seems there’s something we dl crave; Oft times we’re envious too; But if we’d have the tilings we wish There’s one thing we must do.
