We are very fort­unate to have Dennis Scott; a highly qualified instructor and a newcomer to our town, coaching about 80 of our kids. Last week our Club participated in the Raymond Swim Meet coming out in second place, defeated only by the ?rowsnest Pass. Rob Ririe came home with an Agrigate Trophy and ribbons up to 6th place were pre­sented to many of our swimmers. A very pretty Summer wedding was solemnized in Immanuel Lutheran Church, Lethbridge, Saturday, July 11th, 1981, when Pastor Mayon united in marriage Kathy Hillmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Hillmer of Lethbridge, and Derrel Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Taylor of Magrath. Mrs. Diane Thomson presided at the organ for the wedding music. The bride, tfho entered the sanct­uary on the arm of her father who gave her in marriage, was attended by her sister Connie Audenart as matron of honor, Shauna Gourley, Kathy Passey, Lauretta Cowan and Shelley Powlesland as bridesmaids. Amber Audenart, niece of the bride was flower girl. The groom was attended by Kris Engen as best man and groomsmen were Ron Harker, Rob Ripley, Brent Johnson and Keith Hillmer, the bride's twin brother. Ring bearer was Dustin Miller, nephew of the -groom. During the signing of the register Sue Quick sang "The Wedding Song". Following the wedding a reception was held at the El Rancho Motor Hotel. Parents of the bride and groom together with their attendants assisted them in receiving the large number of relatives and friends assembled for the occasion. Miss Shauna Taylor, sister of the groom, attended the guest register. A delicious buffet supper was enjoyed followed by dancing to the "Sundowners" band. The happy couple are making their home on the Taylor Farm south of Magrath.
