Depending on the condition of the basement, development of this space of livability is more economical than adding on to the home. Also it will be cheaper to heat in the long run. With good planning, proper heating, an exciting choice of finishing materials and excellent artificial lighting, the basement can be a desirable place to use. Families enjoy bright, clean attractive surroundings. The lower level should be planned with the same comfort and good looks of the main floor. Once you have decided on the type of development, draw your plans to scale. Show the exact location if immovable objects such as pipes, furnace, hot water heater, window and stair locations. Zoning is also important keeping the layout and sleeping areas main floor.
