Summary:Ovaj završni rad prikazuje način na koji je Dreyfusova afera utjecala na francusku Treću Republiku. Rad započinje kronološkim prikazom sudbine Alfreda Dreyfusa. Zatim se bavi glavnim pitanjima na koja je Dreyfusova afera utjecala. Prvo je to opis faze u kojoj slučaj prerasta u aferu i prikazuje način na koji dijeli francusku javnost. Treće poglavlje je vezano uz pitanje antisemitizma u Francuskoj i prikazuje na koji se način antisemitizam pod utjecajem Dreyfusove afere promijenio, tu se također obrađuje pitanje stvaranja cionističkog pokreta. Završno poglavlje bavi se utjecajem afere na raskol Crkve i države 1905. godine, sami raskol i utjecaj raskola na daljnje postojanje crkve unutar države. This thesis shows the impact the Dreyfus Affair had on the Third Republic. It starts with chronological display of Alfred Dreyfus’ fate. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the major issues affected by the Affair. Firstly, it describes the phase in which the case turned into an affair, and it demonstrates how the Affair divided French public. The third chapter deals with the issue of anti-Semitism in France, and it shows its change under the influence of the Dreyfus Affair. This thesis also deals with the issue of creation of the Zionistic movement. The final chapter of this thesis deals with the impact of the Dreyfus Affair on the schism of church and state in 1905, the schism itself, and the influence of schism on the further coexistence of the Church and the state.
