Description
Summary:August 2, 1931. Kjerulfs Fjord. Through to Dickson Fjord. In background mountains on west side of Left Valley at S.E. end. In foreground, Hisinger Glacier reaches its most northern point, which L.A.B. calls The Divide. Here it spreads out, spilling over in huge curves and points, into the southern (S.E.) end of Left Valley and throws off streams which flow into the pond-like lake, (here shown) and thence to Kjerulfs Fjord. The glacier turns E.N.E. here at the Divide and goes into Dickson Fjord. Photo taken facing west on eastern side of Left Valley at its southern end. This is No. 20 in pan C.
