Here it spreads out - spilling over, as it were - in huge curves and points which descend a very short distance into the southern (S.E.) end of Left Valley and throw off small streams, of which the largest flows down Left Valley, through Main Valley and into Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. Photo taken facing west, from eastern side of Left Valley at southern end. NOTE: On opposite side above glacier distinct horizontal line conforming to present glacier level; above this, two more such lines. Have these at any time been the level of glacier? This is No. 17 in pan C.
