[Mountain] forming eastern side of Unknown Valley with glacier (later proved to be Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher]) coming from SW and filling entire valley in its course, N.E. from this point I had my first view of it in detail. On the left southern terminal of mts. forming eastern side of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. From this point they extend along eastern side of Left Valley. Below their slope is stream passing through Left Valley. In foreground, stream of Right Valley near its mouth. Photo taken from raised land at N.W. junction of Main and Right Valley.
