August 2, 1931. Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. Through to Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher] in Unknown Valley - coming from S.S.E.) reaches its northern most point and here (Scoop Mt. [Mountain]) turns E.N.E. and in a rapid decline descends into Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. Entire surface of glacier is deeply crevassed and covered with sharp-pointed hummocks. In background mountain range which is eastern side of Unknown Valley. In left of photo the slope of L.A.B.'s Scoop Mt. [Mountain] is seen curving to the left or E.N.E. Photo taken from slope of southern terminal of mts. [mountains] forming eastern side of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord, looking S.S.E.
