Summary: | August 6, 1931. Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher], southern side, between Scoop Mt. [mountain] and the inner end of Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord, where the glacier ends. Here it is seen to have gouged out the land, carrying with it quantities of large rocks, stones of all sizes and piling up dirt in jagged masses: Between this moraine and the steep sides of the mountains, with Scoop Mt. [mountain] towering above, a stream - not large - flows to the fjord. See 35-9 and 36-4. Photo taken on northern side of Scoop Mt. [mountain], looking WNW.
