Veslekari is seen anchored on west side of the fjord at foot of Riddarborgen (Peak), the N.W. entrance at Kaiser Franz Josef Fjord [Kejser Franz Joseph Fjord]. It was from this place L.A.B. went in motor-boat Aug. 1st to extreme inner end of fjord. Also on Aug. 2nd L.A.B. went to extreme inner end of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord and crossed from there to Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. Photo taken from motor-boat looking west.
