Summary:August 6, 1931. Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. Extreme inner end. In background; Curry-comb Peak and mts. [mountains] forming west side of Unknown Valley at its most northern point, where mts. [mountains] becomes west side of Left Valley. See photo: 27-1-13. At base of mts. [mountains] is Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher] showing scoops, points - at L.A.B.'s Divide; see 26-H-21; 27-1-14; 27-1-15; 26-H-23; 25-G-15 & 27-1-13 - and face at its greatest width, where it terminates at the very inner-most end of Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. On right; mts. [mountains] forming north side of Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord; here they are seen at their western terminal, facing Curry-comb Peak Mountains; where they round to the N.W. or N. and become the east side of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. At right; is rocky point of land which sticks out into the fjord - and is the same as seen by L.A.B. Aug. 2nd: See photos 27-1-22 & 26-H-7. The south side of Hisinger Glacier [Hisinger Gletscher] (where we landed) can just be seen at left in photo. Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord, is here seen at its inner-most end.
