August 1, 1931. Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. Extreme inner end. In background on left Scoop Mt. [Mountain] and range of mountains forming eastern side of glacier, filling Unknown Valley. Tongue-shaped glacier reaching large glacier: See 26-H-15 & 25-G-14. The entire Left Valley shows in this photo. The eastern side of this valley is the southern terminal of the mountains forming the eastern side of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. The stream of Left Valley is shown descending from the pond-like lake and glacier beyond through the ravine (almost gorge) at its mouth. In foreground stream of Right Valley. Photo taken looking S.E. from elevated land S.W. end of Main Valley - opposite Curry-comb Peak. This is sequel to 22-D-6a.
