Description
Summary:August 2, 1931. Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. Through to Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord. High point I reached at 4:55 PM on southern terminal of range of mountains which had formed eastern side of Kjerulfs [Kjerulf] Fjord. Below me a fjord --later proved to be Dickson [Dicksons] --with the large glacier in Unknown Valley and my Scoop Mt. [Mountain] still clearly in view and the glacier passing around my Scoop Mt. [Mountain] ended now in the fjord below me. In background: Mt. [mountain] range with ice-cap (which was the continuance of my Scoop Mt. [Mountain] range) forming the south side of Dickson [Dicksons] Fjord and this was the furthest point E.N.E. that I could see. This photo is No. 5 in pan C.
