A branch of the King’s Messengers S.P.G. has been started.” The postcard shows an East Indian family outside their home – an ajoupa or tapia hut. The walls of these types of huts are usually made from a mixture of clay, grass, cow dung and water while the roof is usually made from carat or palm leaves.
