The S.P.G. supports work here and throughout the greater part of the West Indies. A branch of the King’s Messengers S.P.G. has been started.” The postcard shows an East Indian family outside their home – an ajoupa or tapia hut. The walls of these types of huts are usually made from a mixture of clay, grass, cow dung and water while the roof is usually made from carat or palm leaves. Funding for this project has been provided by Mrs. Irma E. Goldstraw.
