The international whaling commission meets in Japan next week. Top of the agenda will be plans to set up a whaling centre in Antarctic and a moratorium on commercial whaling. Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Patrick Manning last night announced a series of meshes to alleviate the impact of the floatation of the dollar in some hard hit sectors of the community.
