Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Patrick Manning last night announced a series of meshes to alleviate the impact of the floatation of the dollar in some hard hit sectors of the community. The government of Puerto Rico has hinted that more alterations to the 936 programme particularly in the area of tourism – 936 a special lending facility is now being reviewed in Puerto Rico and Washington.
