Freshwater flux and mixing of a highly glaciated fjord: Glacier Bay, Alaska
Drifter buoys were released in six locations in Glacier Bay to determine the amount of freshwater input into the bay. After correcting for tidal and wind activity, the number calculated is 1/5 of the amount predicted.
