It addresses traffic safety – a major public health concern in Russia. The dissertation describes recent trends and determinants of traffic safety in Arkhangelsk and will contribute a part of the evidence basis for planning local road safety measures in future. The Department of Community Medicine of the University of Tromsø initiated for the purposes of dissemination of the results in the study area, that the disputation will take place in Arkhangelsk. The date is set for 11 January 2013.
