Featherstone were admitted Fellows of the society. Includes a list of additions to the library during the month of August. There was extensive discussion concerning the paper on the acclimatisation of the true salmon (Salmo salar) in Tasmanian waters read by Ms Saville-Kent. Includes note on a specimen of natural grafting, or inarching of the branches of the weeping ash (Fraxinus excelsior penduda), by F. Abbott.
