A comparison of aromatase inhibitors for the sex reversal of female Atlantic salmon ( Salmo salar L.)

Immersion treatment of all female Atlantic salmon alevins with 1,4,6-androstatriene-3, 17-dione (ATD) (Steraloids Inc.) at doses of 0.5 and 5 mg l-1 resulted in up to 54% masculinisation and fertility was the same as normal males. 2004 Kluwer Academic Publishers.
