| Summary: | Salida de campo a Zaratán, Valladolid, los días 24 y 26 de mayo de 1953, de la que se anotaron observaciones sobre el parto de un Erizo (pudiendo ser Erinaceus europaeus o Atelerix algirus), y las siguientes aves: Actitis hypoleucos (Andarríos chico, llamado Actynioides hypoleucus por el autor), Anas platyrhynchos (Ánade azulón, también llamado Pato bravío por el autor), Charadrius dubius (Chorlitejo chico), Corvus monedula (Grajilla, llamada Coloeus por el autor), Falco peregrinus (Halcón peregrino, también llamado Alcotán palomero), Merops apiaster (Abejaruco europeo), Otus scops (Autillo europeo), Petronia petronia (Gorrión chillón, también llamada Jiria), Phoenicurus ochruros (Colirrojo tizón), Pica pica (Urraca, llamada "marica" y "picarza" por el autor), Podiceps cristatus (Somormujo lavanco), Sturnus sp. (Estornino) y Tyto alba (Lechuza común). Se incluyen medidas morfométricas completas de seis Gorriones chillones. Field trip to Zaratán, Valladolid, the 24th and 26th of May of 1953, of which there were noted observations about the labour of an Hedgehog (that may be Erinaceus europaeus or Atelerix algirus), and the following birds: Actitis hypoleucos (Common Sandpiper, refered as Actynioides hypoleucus by the author), Anas platyrhynchos (Mallard), Charadrius dubius (Little Ringed Plover), Corvus monedula (Eurasian Jackdaw, refered as Coloeus by the author), Falco peregrinus (Peregrine Falcon), Merops apiaster (European Bee-eater), Otus scops (Common Scops-owl), Petronia petronia (Rock Sparrow), Phoenicurus ochruros (Black Redstart), Pica pica (Black-billed Magpie), Podiceps cristatus (Great Crested Grebe), Sturnus sp. (Starling) and Tyto alba (Barn Owl). Complete morphometric data of six Rock Sparrows are included.
