(Bisbita), Ciconia ciconia (Cigüeña blanca), Clamator glandarius (Críalo europeo), Coccothraustes coccothraustes (Picogordo), Corvus corone (Corneja negra), Corvus frugilegus (Graja), Emberiza schoeniclus (Escribano palustre), Fringilla coelebs (Pinzón vulgar), Galerida cristata (Cogujada común), Larus ridibundus (Gaviota reidora), "Otus limicolae" (según el autor), Picus viridis (Pito real), Phylloscopus sp. (Mosquitero), Saxicola torquata (Tarabilla común), Sturnus unicolor (Estornino negro) and Vanellus vanellus (Avefría europea). Inluye sencillas ilustraciones a rotulador de Ánsar común (Anser anser) y Avefría Europea (Vanellus vanellus). Field trip to Laguna de Duero, in the province of Valladolid, during the morning of the 14th of February of 1951, of which there were noted observations of the following birds: Accipiter nisus (Eurasian Sparrowhawk, also refered as Astur palumbarius by the author), Anas penelope (Eurasian Wigeon), Anas platyrhynchos (Mallard), Anser anser (Greylag Goose), Anthus sp. (Pipit), Ciconia ciconia (White Stork), Clamator glandarius (Great Spotted Cuckoo), Coccothraustes coccothraustes (Hawfinch), Corvus corone (Carrion Crow), Corvus frugilegus (Rook), Emberiza schoeniclus (Reed Bunting), Fringilla coelebs (Chaffinch), Galerida cristata (Crested Lark), Larus ridibundus (Common Black-headed Gull), Phylloscopus sp. (Chiffchaff), Picus viridis (Eurasian Green Woodpecker), Saxicola torquata (African Stonechat), Sturnus unicolor (Spotless Starling), "Otus limicolae" (as the author refered) and Vanellus vanellus (Northern Lapwing). Some simple felt-tip pen illustrations of the Greylag Goose (Anser anser) and the Northerm Lapwing (Vanellus vanellus) are included.
