Summary:Students from the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science took time to say thank you to the people and organizations that support their academic studies. The Faculty held its 51st annual Scholarship and Awards Reception February 13 at the University’s Research and Innovation Centre. Quinn Legare, a third year student taking Environmental Systems Engineering and a member of the U of R’s track and field team, shared a thank you and spoke on behalf of the student recipients. “It really means a lot to me,” says Legare, who is from Mistatim, Saskatchewan and a graduate of Hudson Bay Composite High School. “This support provides financial security and makes it possible for me to continue my studies and the freedom for me to do my extracurricular activities as well.” Staff no
