After talking to a few professors in the geology department, it was evident that travelling to Iceland would be the experience of a lifetime. Dr. Ian Coulson had spent some time there and suggested it as a must see. Also, Dr. Stephen Bend had been working with geothermal energy and has great interest in Iceland’s renewable resources.
